Home Health Aid

We are looking for compassionate Home Health Aides to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services for our residents. We want your skills, your personality, and your commitment to quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in residents’ apartments
• Administer simple prescribed medications
• Assist residents with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Monitor residents’ (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Assist with residents’ personal care activities
• Transport and accompany residents to activities and meals
• Maintain residents’ care records and document provided services
• Collect routine specimens
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Skills

• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Home Health Aide certification (current)
• Nursing and health care administration skills
• Caring and compassionate personality
• One year working experience as home health aide preferred
• Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens
• Proficiency in English

Schedule

• Full time evenings 3p-11p
• Full time nights 11p-7a

Salary

• From $19.50 per hour
